- Will I lose my programs and data?
- Cloning may be possible, but it is separate from the installation labour and depends on the condition of the original drive. We confirm the scope before proceeding.
- What if my laptop has soldered storage (MacBook M1–M3)?
- Unfortunately those models cannot be upgraded — the storage is permanently attached to the logic board. We will advise at point of booking so you are not charged for an assessment.
- How much faster will it be?
- Typically 3–5x faster boot times and dramatically faster application launch. Most customers notice the difference immediately on first power-on.
- Do I need to buy the SSD separately?
